Step 1. Download: After completing your purchase, you’ll receive an email with a link to download the Reading Journal files.
- Check your email: Please ensure to enter your correct email address at Checkout.
- Can't find it? Check your spam or junk folders if you don't see an email from us in your main inbox after your purchase.
- Download instructions will be provided in your Welcome Guide.
Step 2. Set Up: Once you've downloaded the files to your iPad or tablet, import the Reading Journal PDF into your preferred note-taking app (e.g. Goodnotes).
- Step-by-step import instructions can be found in your User Guide.
Step 3. Journal On: Now you’re ready to use your Reading Journal! In your note-taking app, you can handwrite, type, draw, highlight, and even add images or stickers—the possibilities are endless!

💭 I've never journaled with my iPad/tablet before, would this work for me?
Yasss 💯.
We’ve designed the journal with first-time users in mind. So even if this is all brand new to you, you’ll find it easy to use.
Plus, we offer a beginner-friendly user guide to help you get started.
And you can check out our YouTube channel for step-by-step tutorials that show you how to set up and use the journal with apps like Goodnotes and Noteful.
*Note: our tutorials and user guide feature only the iPad and our recommended apps: Goodnotes and Noteful. Though most of the other note-taking apps work similarly.
🤔 How does it work with note-taking apps like Goodnotes?
The journal is an interactive PDF with built-in hyperlinks. Once imported into Goodnotes (or a similar app), you can use your keyboard to type in it or stylus to write in it just like a physical notebook. You can also use the hyperlinks for easy navigation between sections and pages.
💭 What devices are compatible?
This journal is designed specifically for tablets like the iPad.
It's not designed for phones, desktops or laptops. But hey, we won't stop you from trying! Just a heads up: it'll probably look and feel pretty weird 🫠.
🤔 Can I use other note-taking apps besides Goodnotes, Noteful or Notability?
Yes you can👌.
Although, we can't guarantee the best user experience across all the apps. There are just tOoo many of them, each with their own pros and cons.
So far, we like Goodnotes and Noteful best. And that's why we've included them in the user guide.
If you're up for it 💪, you can try out the free versions of a few note-taking apps first to find the one that works best for you.
*Note: 🙅♀️ Not compatible with OneNote or Evernote.
💭 Can I change the colors, fonts, or layout of the journal?
The core layout, colors, and fonts of the journal are fixed. But you can personalize it in various ways using your note-taking app’s tools. Such as adding your own annotations and customizing it with highlights, stickers, or drawings 👩🎨.
*Note: We’ve worked to display our product colors and images as accurately as possible, but we can’t guarantee that the colors will appear exactly the same on your device (due to the differences across personal devices).
🤔 Can I print this journal out?
While the journal is meant for digital use, you can still print it out.
But maybe just some of the pages...we wouldn't recommend the ENTIRE journal. I mean...think about the trees, the paper jams, the time spent in front of your printer, and the cost of colored ink?! 🤦♀️ (*yikes*)
💭 Do you offer any refunds?
Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final, and we do not offer refunds.

🤔 Can I share the journal with others?
Nope. The journal and all the files that come with it are for personal use only and protected under copyright laws. So sharing the files with others is not legal, and *really* not cool to the creator.

I loved the reading journal so much! It was very cutesy and unique. I love dragons and the color purple so it was perfect.
I purchased this journal today and I am in loving it. The navigation is super easy and the index page is so cute! I am not into dragons but it was easy to cover them up. I look forward to seeing what else this shop comes up with,
